Yellowwood Cafe Wedding & Conference Venue

Yellowwood is suitable for weddings, conference, office parties, year end functions, birthday parties, product launches, farewells. Paintball for corporates, families and kiddies over 10yrs.

Zinkwazi Lagoon Lodge

Set in the subtropical forest, on the magnificent lagoon and surrounded by birds, there are no outside facilities to distract delegates. Special events can be organized to facilitate the tropical ‘bush’ experience, e.g. sundowner cruises on the lagoon, canoe trails, beach or forest hikes, bird watching trails, marine excursions to see the wildlife, game fishing trips, also ‘on location’ talks about beach ecology or battlefields. More specialized and daring adventures such as ‘paintball’ and similar team building activities can also be arranged.

Venues

The main conference room (Achtzehn Convention Centre) comfortably caters for up to 120 delegates, with many different conference configurations. Free WiFi Hotspot at these two venues for your communication needs.

The chalet lounges with their covered patios are ideal as breakaway room for up to 10 delegates each. For informal get-togethers there is also an open sided pavilion overlooking the pool area, suitable for up to 40 delegates. Our venues are equipped with top class facilities and equipment including data projector. Other requirements can be arranged.

Catering & Lodging

All catering is arranged by the on-site Raffia Restaurant, which serves an a la carte menu, but also does set menus, function dinners, outside braais, and function cruises on the lagoon.

Individual requirements can be arranged.

Accommodation is provided at the Zinkwazi Lagoon Lodge on site.

Being a country lodge, White Mountain Lodge offers rooms and chalets with self catering or full board facilities. Our chalets are tastefully decorated in a country style and set amidst vibrant indigenous gardens offering seclusion and privacy. Individual barbecue facilities are provided at most of the chalets for those outside catering urges.

Our chalets can accommodate from two to six occupants with well equipped kitchenettes which make self catering easy. Heaters and winter sheets provided ensure that even during those winter nights a cozy restful sleep is guaranteed. While a superette and laundry make for easy access to those essential requirements.

A comfortable and hassle free environment is what we at White Mountain Lodge strive to provide, not only through our service but also through our facilities.

When the season permits river rafting is always a particular favorite with visitors, and our experienced instructors guarantee an action packed fun day down the river.

Choose between the beautiful and intimate Tree Lodge Lounge with the watering hole as your backdrop or say your ‘I do’s’ in the bush for a truly African experience. This could be set high up on the Ubizane hill or deep within our romantic fever tree forest.

We also provide facilities that are ideal for work functions and conferences, allowing business to blend with nature. Our air-conditioned bush deck venue suits conferences of various sizes, with open space and enough seating for 45 delegates.

Umfolozi Hotel Casino Convention Resort

Umfolozi Hotel Casino Convention Resort in the uMhlathuze Region in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal offers a fantastic choice of conference, exhibition, banqueting, team-building and business facilities able to host up to 350 guests. It is also a glorious wedding venue.

The new state-of-the-art facilities include the Jabulani Arena, Umoba, Imvubu and Ingwenya Rooms as well as the newly renovated Kikizela which offers an adventurous team-building venue with boma.

Venues offer flexible configuration capacities and modern technology making it suitable for a variety of functions from business meetings to team-building or from weddings to conferences.

Umhlali Country Club

The Umhlali Country Club offers a variety of versatile conference and wedding facilities that cater for varying groups up to 150 guests.

Function Hall (130-150 pax)

The Function Hall is the ideal venue for meetings, parties, corporate functions and weddings. The hall has stacking doors opening out onto a paved courtyard The room is equipped with a big screen/ projector and is well ventilated and fully air conditioned.

The Function Hall also provides a perfect spot to host kiddie’s birthday parties especially if you are not sure what the weather is doing. The club has a selection of jumping castles which are included in venue hire fee

Boardroom (15-30 pax)

The Boardroom is suitable for smaller meetings, presentations and AGM’s. It can seat up to 15 people around a table and 30 people cinema style. The room is equipped with a plasma TV that allows for presentations and is fully air conditioned.

The Annex (10-30 pax)

The Annex provides an alternative venue to the Boardroom. Nestled between the Halfway House and the Club House, it offers opportunities for smaller functions with a maximum of 30 guests. The venue has a casual and relaxed atmosphere with doors on one side opening out onto a paved garden area and another set of doors that open into the bar. The room is equipped with a plasma TV for presentations.

Halfway House

The Halfway House is an informal café for the members, residents living on the Estate, as well as visitors.

Dining at the Club

An A La Carte menu is served in the bar and on the verandah at the Club House. With breakfasts, wraps, salads, fish and chips and steak, it covers a range of delicious, affordable options to suit all palettes. No booking is required and the menu is on offer daily from 07h30 to 16h30.

We also have the Albatross restaurant for a more fine dining experience. It is open Friday and Saturdays from 12pm-9pm.

Catering at the Club is provided by Outandabout caterers who are committed to supplying quality food and excellent customer service. Menus can be tailor made for all function making catering for special occasions, corporate events and weddings effortless.

An outdoor gazebo can be used for your ceremony and ensures a unique and memorable function in tranquil, luscious surroundings Our in house catering company offers delicious cuisine and is able to tailor make a menu to suit your requirements.
