
The Comrades Marathon is the world’s largest and oldest Ultra Marathon race with a distance of 90km (approx. 56 miles). This fantastic event takes place every year in the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. The direction of the race changes every year and it alternates between the ‘up run’ (89 km) starting from Durban and the ‘down run’ (90 km) starting from Pietermaritzburg. Sunday 11th June Comrades 2023 will be another down run
