Take a walk along Durban / Ethekwini’s boastful golden mile and you will soon find yourself on the golden sands of Addington Beach.
Addington Beach is situated adjacent to uShaka Marine World and is the ideal spot for swimming, surfing, and beach volleyball. Addington Beach is sheltered, that has small waves ideal for first-time surfers or junior swimmers who prefer calm waters. The Beach has shark nets & trained lifeguards ensuring that all visitors to the beach are kept safe.
The main beach inclines rather steeply from the tree-covered dunes from the main railway station. Hibberdene Beach is situated 97 km south of Durban and within an hour’s drive of the Wild Coast Casino. It lies halfway between Scottburgh and Port Shepstone. It’s also good for surfing and also has Blue Flag status.
