Soak up the Sun on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal!

The thrill of adventure. That’s what awaits you in our beautiful province of KwaZulu-Natal this festive season! Heart FM and the Expresso Show joined us on an action-packed weekend in the South Coast, and we don’t think we can find the words to describe it, but we can definitely try!

The sun is finally out, and it’s time you let your guns out too, and by guns, we mean those biceps.

Beginning your holiday at a steady pace, see the South Coast shoreline in a way you’ve never seen before by taking a smooth stroll on Trafalgar beach on the back of some of KwaZulu-Natal’s most majestic horses.

After that, make sure you check yourself in to stay at San Lameer Resort, offering a variety of the best villas the South Coast has to offer situated on a world-class golf estate, so make sure you’ve packed those clubs. San Lameer has a variety of fun activities such as tennis courts and swimming pools, to name a few.

Is there any better way to greet the morning sun than to do so while gliding across the South Coast beach on a boat cruise? We certainly don’t think so. Soak up the fresh air and gaze at the never-ending ocean-blue waves, and if you’re lucky, you may even spot a dolphin or two!

Please put on your brave face because you’re going to need it as you descend upon Wild 5 Adventures at Oribi Gorge, where you can look forward to jumping off Africa’s highest gorge swing as well as a 110m abseil, foefie-slide, 85m suspension bridge, white water rafting on the Umzimkhulu, paintball, team building and guided trails (hiking & birding).

Within a stone throw away, if Wild 5 Adventures wasn’t enough to get your blood pumping, then Lake Eland is sure to do the trick.

Overlooking the vast and luscious Lake Eland, fly high in the sky with the birds as you take the famous Zip Line Tour.

With an abundance of activities to keep the entire family happy, choose from the self-game drive, where you get the pleasure of viewing the abundant wildlife and flora from the comfort of your car. Brave your fear of heights by taking a stroll across the 80m suspension bridge.

Are you looking for a more immersive experience? Lake Eland Game Reserve offers horse riding, walking and single-track mountain biking, paintballing, fishing and has various picnic sites.  Teeming with a wide variety of activities for you and your family, there is no better place to be this summer than on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal! Come and see why our beautiful province does have it all.
